Galvanized Wire
Short Description:
There are two types of galvanized steel wire: electro-galvanized steel wire-and hot-dip galvanized steel wire. They have excellent corrosion resistance-and are durable.
Galvanized steel wire is steel wire that has been coated with a layer of zinc to protect it from corrosion. The galvanizing process involves immersing the wire in a bath of molten zinc, which forms a protective coating on the steel. This coating not only serves as a barrier against moisture-and other corrosive elements, but also provides additional strength-and durability to the wire. Galvanized steel wire is commonly used in various applications such as fencing, construction, agriculture,-and electrical wiring, where corrosion resistance-and strength are important factors. It is available in different gauges-and forms, such as galvanized steel wire ropes-or galvanized steel strands.
